Everyone who works within a business is a businessperson. That means designers too. Earlier in my career I focussed a lot on design craft, but as I've progressed I've needed to learn new skills outside of my core design skillset to succeed.

Learning more about the economic context in which your business exists will not only help you with your day to day design work, but help you influence other senior leaders in your business. I'll talk about the importance of learning some core business skills and how you can apply these in your design work.
